The End to a Wonderful Series, Monk: Mr. Monk and the End – Part II
What a finale! Best ending I’ve watched in a awhile!
“Here’s what happened…”

I did not start off as a fan of Monk and practically disliked the series at the beginning. Since my wife tuned into Monk beginning with Season 2 and on from there, I finally became a fan after the 6th season. Needless to say I was subjected to it for a few years to have finally become a fan. I can truthfully say that I was enthralled by the closure presented at the end of the two-part finale and the feeling that followed. I could easily continue to watch Monk for more seasons but with the finale having been written so thought out and complete, I feel that I can say good-bye. The acting and script were brilliant as well as the fact that the second half of the episode developed the closure, brings me to placing this episode at the top of my all-time favorite list.
I tip my hat to all those that worked on Monk, thank you. I hope that any future projects you may work on be as brilliant and use your talents fully.
